And here we see how it is that the Turks managed to sit on flying carpets

..well, I mean that and the desert heat. But mostly the hash plants.

The sativa is a classic example of red/brown hairs not indicating ripeness. This plant is in a 20 gallon bag, rooted into ground below; not fed much and it shows in trichome production.

Yeah, rain is becoming a problem here as well. Next year i'll need to stretch trellis netting between posts in order to give branches more support. Rain soaked colas jave too much mass if it's windy and yoyos can't keep up.

You can see that as i get in closer to the branch the damage gets worse. Phone resolution isn't showing the threads and other small stuff very well, but you can see the slime and webbing. This particular bud came from the section of the plant thar sees the first sun of the day; terminal cola on an outer branch. Dollars to donuts that there's moth larvae in the stem.

Speaking of drones, one practical use for them would be to send one up and record a video overlooking your garden that you can then examine on your monitor to get an idea of how visible the area is from the air and adjust accordingly.

Now, if i had a drone, that would be neat. But it would also make the neighbours not immediately adjacent to my yard more aware of 'something' in my yard. I'm in the 'burbs, lots of military, police, and civil service neighbours. Google Maps, satellite view, tells me that the trees that shade so much of my back yard also screen my grow.
