just discarded a kalimans cheese 1 male that had three fans and branches every node. first time I have seen a triple. I don't know if it will carry over to the clone, wish mine would have been a female extra bud at every node. LOL

if anyone has experience with this, any info would be appreciated.

All of my trifolates have turned out male, this is the first time I've heard of it occurring to a cloned female but sports do happen (a sport is a mutation appearing at one branch rather than the entire plant).

I have seen male and female tri's before and it depends on where the clone is cut from. So if you have a tri and it is the entire plant and you top it and use that top as a clone it most likely going to continue on but most of the time due to the stress of the cutting the plant reverts back a normal growth.

In adding I don't think I have ever heard of a tri being bred as a stable trait.

I have only seen a quad once in the DJ Short strain Flodica.

Like birth defects having one bad gene leads to a deformed limb or some other health issue.
