    Arrow Single Seeds?

We would like to ask the community here for some advice. Would it be better if we offer single seeds as well as packs?

Let us know what you think.

For some reason poll doesn't work.

Mixed packs would be nice. Might want to try 3 strains but can't afford all. That's the beauty of fem seeds. It would make it easier to find a favorite.

Don't have to worry about males. Don't have to worry about M/F ratio.

Nothing wrong with feminized seeds, work great for those who just want meds. Now to a breeder, they may be useless. You can always go buy your regular seeds elsewhere and pay for the males you get too. When it comes to just getting buds, fem seeds are nice and I do use them for that purpose. But when I dabble with breeding projects, I will never use them.

not everyone have space and time to grow regular seeds.
10 seeds of reg theres a 50/50 chance, when you tell the sex your left with half or more. So if you got 5 females, your left with a space that you would have if you had 10. so instead of 10 regular seeds you can already have 10 females.

some people don't like to take cuttings, they want to try other strains every batch.

can go on and on about pro's and con's of feminized seeds, and there is no such thing as "real" seeds. feminized seeds isn't like before, each year it gets better and better.

But this thread is not about how crappy feminised and good regular seeds are. If you like you can start a thread on it, but please stick to the topic.

If I'm reading your site correctly the cost is 10.00 pre single seed making a pack of 10 seed 100.00 correct and is that price for famed seeds or is that price for possible males as well. If so I would rather have famed seed in singles as I can't afford 100.00 for possible pack of males .

In reality you have to consider both parts of the issue, Buyers always want a deal, I know I do, but at the same time there has to be some return for the effort and expense of breeding great strains. It has to work for everyone.

If you order a mixed pack and clone from there on the breeder looses a repeat customer, but if you grow from seed exclusively you would want to test the gear first and then choose. If the breeder has confidence in his/her genetics mixed packs would be a great idea., and a good way to attract new clients.
10 feminized beans/multi strain order/good genetics, the returns are worth the cost.
I hope I'm still on topic...just the thinking behind my suggestion.

Right on Provisions, I think posing that question says something.

    Peace

hey r I dont know if you checked their site but all they have is fems, I know I wouldn't buy a single unless it was a fem. I think what they mean is a lot of us are on disability or having tough financial times so selling single seeds would male it more affordable for some people to aquire their genetics.

Im a big fan of single seeds and used to buy from the single seed shop all the time. Been on the hunt for that certain strain and growing two or three strains at a time is common for me. If I like the strain then I buy a pack of regs then see what the "untainted" true forms are like. As far as the buds go they are very close too or exact same as regulars so gives the grower a look at what the strain offers without sexing and cloning plants. I think every company should offer single seeds so that no one would have to go to single seed banks at an inflated cost.

I havnt checked out single seeds from other companies that offer it but I think because of the shipping and risk they raise the price. Im not too sure, im still looking into everything

single seeds are a good idea for people who wanna try your genetics but don't wanna get a 5 pack and if they like what they grow, they buy more. At lest thats where i see the value as a seed seller.
And still I see no changes. Can't a brother get a little peace?
