You can also pick up a USB microscope for your PC.

Mine is quite nice and was only $42 with free shipping from newegg

LED light ring and side button to take pics, also does video. With focus pulled all the way back you can shoot the room and then zoom in for a macro shot of trichomes.

A hand held scope is still going to be the easiest thing to take around the garden though, the USB scope is best for taking macro pics post-harvest unless you really don't mind taking a laptop around from plant to plant.

Hey Sparkey I'M drooling on my keyboard.
I'm doing another grow of Peaks TS and NL and have grown SB and NB as well as Nebula from Paradise from clones. I have never been able to get trichomes production like what I see in your pics. I notice your leaves are starting to yellow and wonder if I'm too impatient. I thought leaving them too long may cause them to hermie??

That yellowing stage is what we call the Fade.

Toward the end of flower, the plant moves mobile nutrients and sugars from the leaves into the flowers and new bud leaves.

You'll see not just yellow, but also other fall colours such as orange, red and purple. Some strains will need cooler temperatures to bring out the hidden rainbow.

Of course, if you were to keep hitting them with a high NPK chemical fertilizer and cut them at 6 weeks into flower then the above is far less likely to occur.

Thanks for the kind words my friend! I usually start giving the plant plain water around 40/45 days in flower depending on the strain..I started the flush a little too soon with this plant. But she will be a good smoke..

Yeah, you are on the money Shadimar..A lot of my sugar leaves turn purple with every strain i grow at the end of flowering stage.

Hey Sparkey. The TS made me happy, happy, happy, nice sativa good yield.
3 plants that I had been stealing from gave me 14+ oz green at harvest
2 NL 8+ozs green. So we're OK for a little while. That was bud only I also gave a couple of ozs of primo trimmings to sick neighbor and I have some for butter or whatever.
TS high is all sativa good for mild arthritic pain and if I stay on the pipe all day it seems to quiet down my wrists too and that says alot. Mamma loves NL and she's hard to please.

I'm going to keep this cindy for awhile and wanted another strain to run with her. Skunkberry is one of my favorites, but my last grow my wife said she can't handle the smell. lol..so ill continue to look..peace

This run will be staggered to start a perpetual grow. I have 2 TS in about 3 weeks ago and another 1 TS & 1 NL in about 1 week ago. I'll fill in the orphans as I go and I mainlined 2 of the orphans yesterday. WEEEEEEE here we go. Have a really tough month coming up ($$$$) but I'm hoping to try some of Provisions gear after new year.
If you do a mixed grow and have more than one strain to harvest on same day, do TS last. It was such nice weed to trim, nice colas, large terminal buds nice smell, that the NL felt almost disappointing afterwards. There will always be TS in my flowering room. Next Peak order will be SS for sure. Will try starting flush at day 40 this time.
