I just smoked some of the Blueberry pheno of this strain.

I'm happily high now. Want to say Hi to my buddy, Rolnik. He helped me along the way. I can recall a time in my life when I hadn't smoked any Skunk Berry before as I was a Skunk Berry virgin. Not any more.

I still have 2 plants growing from this seed grow. They are 4 weeks into flowering. They are monsters in height.

Thanks but it was you and 420growers support and suggestions that helped me along to where I am now. Now I'm not saying I wasn't hand-held by Red, because I was. But you know. It's all here on this forum.

Awesome Johnnyman, I too am partaking in on some 2 week cured SkunkBerry. Must say that this is gonna be one of my favorite strains for a long, long time. Fast, Frosty, Skunky potent pot, Great strain from PeakseedsBc. Clones easy and is the first to show buds and sugar before any other strain starts to cluster up. Bends over stems and snaps are a risk but I dont need to tell you eh Johnny.lol. How much did you end up with if you dont mind me askin? Gonna have to order more of these beans from Mj I think I only have 1 or 2 SkunkBerry left. ENJOY IT You deserve it for sure brother man. Did yours have the bright yellow pistils instead of red or brown hairs? I love that look Yellow pistils on a dark green/blue bud. Great Strain... Hands Down. K.I.M.

Ya man. Great stuff indeed. I'll have to look up how much I produced but remember, my seed grows aren't normal. These were supposed to be mothers and I let them get big. They are not of your garden variety 3 month life span. These gals were over 110 days when I flipped them. So again it's the same this time around. These 'mothers' are ceiling tall. I have 2 Skunk Berries growing and they're now into their 5th week of harvesting.

I'll have to check the plants again to see their pistil colour. Their lights are off now.

On a side note, I'm still growing the 7 C99 beans sent to me by PeakSeedsBC. The damn things are beautiful plants and super sticky. I rubbed my arm on one and now my arm is sticky and smelly.

The weed has a most enjoyable smell to it. I ground some more up and the smell that came out of my small mason jar was extremely pleasant. The same can not be said about the Hippie Headband (another strain from that same harvest).

This is a childless mother. She was grown from seed and vegged for something stupid like 118 days - probably more. I failed miserably getting clones from her, and then some Rockstar showed up at my door one day so I continued with those.

She's now 6 weeks into flower and touching the ceiling. She is one of two remaining of a seed grow I did way back months ago in this thread.

I'm worried she's going to eventually touch a light. I suppose I should thin her more and start tying branches. She's in a 10-gallon pot and requires water almost every second day now.

I hope all you Skunk Berry aficionados dig this babe. She's not one to take No easily and gets respect from all the other plants in the grow room.

The other SB is behind this one. Because of space constraints, I elected to keep that one in a 6-gallon pot. She requires water every two days or I'm seeing a very sad plant.

Hell ya Johnnyman. That one skunkberry will give you enough meds for the year. I had to tie down a couple branches on both of my SB's when in flower. They stretch somthing feirce eh, but well worth it my friend. Treat her nice. K.I.M.

Actually after this harvest I suspect I'll have meds galore for a long while. I still have lots of Skunk Berry (both phenos) in jars to be smoked, as well as much of last harvest's bounty (Purple Kush, Hippie Headband, LA Confidential). And this harvest I'll be adding 3 new strains to the collection (The Purps, C99, Rockstar Kush) and a new Hippie Headband pheno.

With respect to smoking, here is a small report. I smoke with a bong so, admittedly, I lose some flavour. Most of the time, I'm not shooting for an enjoyable smoke but the buzz afterwards. I use a bong because the hits are large and effective with little throat or lung burning.

Skunk Berry (both Skunk and Blueberry phenos):

Smell is very pleasant, not overbearing at all. It most definitely smells like weed when you open it up. Smoking is easy and enjoyable. You could throw in Sweet, too.

Currently what I'm smoking was cured like a professional did it. And this is a miracle since I was the one doing it.

As it turned out, however way I did it was the absolutely correct thing to do. When I take a bud out of the jar and grind it, it still has a tiny amount of moisture remaining. It doesn't crumble to dust like super-dry bud (like some of my other strains). I got lucky that I didn't over dry it.

Whenever I open a Skunk Berry jar I know I'll be greeted with a very pleasant aroma and smoke.

The buzz is awesome. I do feel a slight sense of immediate confusion after smoking. I will then take out an acoustic guitar and make music. This weed certainly improves that entire experience.

I find it amusing that the mind can/will form opinions that may not always be correct. Out of all my strains, I was placing the SB on a lower potency rung for some reason. It seemed my Purple Kush or Hippie Headband would leave me more buzzed. This was totally wrong and I still laugh at myself for forming these conceptions.

Maybe you know that lately I like to switch strains between smokes. It's not uncommon for me to start the night with Hippie Headband, then smoke some PK, then some SB, etc. The SB is just as potent as the rest and has a very pleasant smell. Not sure how or why I formed those wrong opinions. It's awesome when you can 'rediscover' a strain.

Yes Johnnyman, SB sure is a potent strain. I like it a lot myself and will try to always have a skunkberry clone flowering in my crops. Enjoy man.

Sorry everyone. I promised I would take pictures of my last 2 Skunk Berry plants before harvesting but I forgot and dove right into chopping. So you will only get shots of one plant.

I use a 5-gallon bucket to throw the buds in after their trimmed, and I now have more in it with the one Skunk Berry plant than I did with all 6 of the C99s. And I'm still not done chopping it down. I'll probably get a pound out of this one plant. Maybe I'll take pictures of the bucket.

I don't want to alarm you or anything.. but last night I was reading on a very reliable gardening website, and they said that maryjoowannuh is a GATEWAY plant so although ok, yeah.. now you're filling a 5 gallon bucket before you know it you'll need an 8 gallon bucket, and then a 9.. and where do you find a 9 gallon bucket

Thanks so much. That web site is correct. I've already began experimenting with 7-gallon buckets. I didn't like it at first but the other growers pressured me into using them and now I'm hooked. Now all I can think about are 7-gallon buckets. I may start to prostitute my wife so that I can get more buckets. People at the office are already complaining about my obsession for these buckets. I have pictures of them on the wall in my office, and in my car. Sorry, I must go get another bucket fix. I need help.

All my "Monster" plants are now in the flopping over state. The first SB plant took forever to complete harvesting, and it had filled 2/3 of the bucket. The second plant filled the bucket. The two plants were in different sized pots. The first was in a 10-gallon pot and the second was in a 7-gallon pot. I suspect that one will be root bound when I see it. Both plant's buds seemed slightly different from each other where the second plant seem to have harder buds (but fewer) than the first plant.

There were so many buds that after a while I began to discard the fluffy buds that had no weight or density to them. They're going in with the leaf and I'll be making hash with it.
I laugh at myself because after each harvest I have tons of weed, hash, oil, but only end up smoking the weed. Sure I may throw a piece of finger hash in the bowl but that's about it. I hardly ever smoke my bubble hash. I've yet to make the dry sift yet, too.
