    Default Magic flight launch box

purely amazing company that will stand behind their lifetime warranty!

had some issues with my box and i called the nice young lady over at blisssville she gave me a few ideas on how to remedy the issues and told me if that didnt work i would be able to submit for warranty.

today i got an email about submitting (they require pictures of the front and rear of the box and your addy on where to send the replacement)

these folks are putting out an awesome product (i like it better then my volcano), the things i love about this little gizmo are as follows!

    small
    portable
    stealthy
    requires no flame
very little smell that dissipates very quickly
requires only a battery to work (i recommend highly picking up the energizer 15 minute charge for ease of use)
Inexpensive (and just as effective as my volcano)

Each box "Handcrafted renewable wood is only 2.5 by 1.25 by 0.9 inches in size! Exclusively designed and made in the USA." (taken from www.magic-flight.com)

The first thing i noticed when i opened the box was the amazing saying on the back!

"Love is That which enables Choice
Love is always Stronger then Fear
Always Choose on the basis of love!"

even before using the box this quote made it clear that the folks over at blisssville are doing what they do out of love, and it shows in the craftsman ship they put in their product.

The thing i am most excited about with the box is that it has only two moving parts (the lid and the battery), so the chances of breaking it are very little as we know us med users can get clumsy at times!

the contents of the box were as follows (for the with charger kit)

    the launch box
    3" mouth piece
    cleaning brush
    black draw string bag
    sticker
    two batteries w/ holder
a few thick small rubber bands to keep the lid closed while on the go in your pocket
    magic flight tin

    My first use and impression-

when i loaded my first ditch full and plugged the battery in i noticed there was a small light in the box where the mouth piece goes to aid in seeing the vapor (very awesome idea, great visual aid!), my first use was a little rough as i had a hard time gauging the time of inhale, but this was rectified with use (i like to push the battery in wait two seconds then breath in for 4 or 5 then pull the battery).

over all i use this more then i do my cano and achieve very similar effects, the taste of the product in the ditch isnt covered by butane or metal you just get pure good tastes!

I have used just about every other portable vape on the market from the vapor genies (glass and wood), to the electronic handheld gizmos, but have found the magic flight to be the best option out of them all and the most bag for your buck!

I also love that the box doesnt dry me out, like my volcano does, so in saying all this, i must say i love the launch box and the people who make them!

if you are on the fence about a vape give this one a try before you go and spend 2 - 5 x the price or more!

    this product is simply amazing!

How do the batteries hold up on that?

On their site they say a AA will last for one bowl, on one hand that sounds kind of fast but on the other so does reaching 380F in 2 seconds from a single 1.5v battery.

I just picked up a couple energizer 4-AA chargers though, so I guess I'm ordering one

from what i have gathered is that each battery will give you 5 solid minutes of use (each hit should be around 5 seconds giving you around 60 inhales per battery).

but this is why i recommend the 15 minute energizer charger.

be sure to pick up a few extra battery holders from the company when you get your box, when you get the energizers you are going to have to strip off the outside plastic label to use the batteries.

    the case is here

    Hey Russ,

I was looking at Magicflight's website a couple of weeks ago and wondering about it. Thanks for the informative review. I'm gonna try vaping again
with the Launchbox and see what happens!!! It'd be real nice and stealthy in a bathroom stall or whatever when I'm out and about!!!

    Peace and all that jazz,

I have had one for over a year and use it when traveling or needing a quick session. Great individual tool. Very little odor so can use in public etc. Learning to draw slowly and disengage battery several times during hit will give u better flavor IMO Also depends on dryness of herb. WOrth investment need 15 minute charger and 4-8 batteries and you are set for a few months. They do replace defective products with no hassle.

I saw one recently at local shop
The light allows you to see when battery is losing charge .

not really, it is just a push and inhale them let the battery pop out (there is a little black grommet of sorts that keeps the battery from staying engaged, it takes a little learning on getting the inhale and time duration right, but it was time well spent i think i used it for about 10 or 20 minutes and i figured it out! so the curve isnt to bad for learning!

I believe it is that the battery power can not over burn material unless you don't toke. I burned some once when I didnt realize battery was engaged.

Other wise I feel it is heating to about 350-400 range.... I have found when toking to engage and disengage battery for long smooth toke. They tell you to count to 5 after engaging.

I works well for something indiscreet etc....

    i rate it 9 out of 10......

I bought a whip with it so its not "all up in my face" and from what I can tell you just need to take slow steady draws. Right? I will post my personal review shortly following medicating.

Received the launch box yesterday however due to work I couldnt medicate until late last night. First impressions are:

    - WOW.
    - ITS TINY! like smaller than a deck of cards tiny! And very light.
    - Very simple and minimalist construction, appears to be durable so long as it is not kicked around the room, comes with a nice little case which I was thankful to have as my parcel appers to have taken a "swim" before delivery (box was wet/damaged however nothing missing and only thing that was damaged by water was the "thank you for your order card"! what luck!

I was lucky the batteries were partially charged so I was able to vape right away.

VERY IMPRESSIVE how quick it heats up, I see what people mean by you have to "learn" how quick to draw as too quick and you dont get as much meds per hit and waste battery power, too slow and you end up cooking the cannabis which can affect flavor and also the whole point is not to burn but vape.

After a couple draws I think I have it down pretty good, was able to draw full lungs and then breath out the vapour which is interesting (at least for someone who has never vaped before). I find the effects where a about as quick to hit as a bong/water pipe IMO however i did not use much in the vape as just wanted a small tets before hitting the sack. Very easy vape with good taste and effects and i can use this indoors as very little smell when done right.

    CONCLUSION:
Very happy with my purchase! Works just as advertised and I love how the box is hand crafed wood and all edges are smooth which gives it a very comfortable and pleasing feeling.
Highly suggest this little gizmo; I will def. get alot of mileage out of this!

I would suggest buying about 8 extra batteries and a 15 minute charger. That way you can use them less and have full strength.

Remember to pull paper off battery, u might need some gook remover to get all the sticky stuff off.

    Enjoy......

Actually I had just picked up a 15 min charger on Friday.
One thing I did notice however is the duracell batteries are slightly smaller than the batteries that come with the unit so when using them I have to keep pressure on the battery at an angle; I have since found that I can charge the original batteries in the 15 min charger and have the duracell ones as "backup".

Does anyone know if there is another "brand" of battery which is same size?

Sadly have not located any places in canada.

Cheapest price i found was at puffitup.com and used "FC-1" for 15% off first order fm them + comes with a decent 3 tier grinder! I also bought the whip however i dont use it as I find it cumbersome at times.

    Hope of help!
