Question pg-13 or da purps ?

howdy folks! i have 20 seeds of" pg-13" and 20 seeds of "da purps". and am looking for any info on either one .i grew out some" heavy duty fruity "a few years ago and was not impressed at all ,but these ones come from some supposedly top quality strains(hp-13 and da purps) i say supposedly because my only experience with either are descriptions in books.so if any has had any experience (smoking or growing)please do tell!!!!!!!!!!

    hello JessE,
sounds interesting!do you know what the "G13 male" is in this cross? i have always heard/read that the G13 is a cutting only strain, but i suppose males were involved in developing the strain.is your article going to be about history or growing or all of the above ? looking forward to that!

The article is more inclined towards the history of the strain more so than the growing aspects of the variety known as G13. The PG13 variety is actually touched on briefly in the article. I cant speak for the breeding details of this variety, however I can tell you PG13 is a variety credited to an individual known as Pacific. It is not related to the true G13 at all unfortunately.

    good morning RBB and all,
0 out of 10 !?!? yikes!th seeds are expensive too.what method do you use to sprout?
also i was wondering what company did they come from?mine came from hemp depot.
a friend got a pack of 10 burmese kush from attitude ,he got 2 to sprout(seeds were not in original packaging, nor with mine) and both are females.they just started flowering and i havent seen/smelled them yet ,so i cant comment on quality yet.
as for seed size i just went and pulled them out of the fridge to compare and the pg-13 is only slightly bigger than da purps both very small(jacks cleaner from TGA are by far the largest in size of all the seeds i have)and i dont remember the seed size of the heavy duty fruity.
does any one know if seed size is related to calyx size, it seems to me like it would be,and i love nugs with giant calyxes(like the ones in most of th seeds photos)
    peace to all

i used the papertowel method... i actually sent 5 of them over to another friend.. who has been growing for years... we both did a big seed starting spree.. i started 8 strains... all the other ones had great germ rates... but these ones were just duds i guess... they were purchased from thseeds by a member here i guess..

    Cheers

    haha, indeed it is February!

I got my last copy towards the later end of the month in the mail, however I believe Marco mentioned the 2nd week of february as a bench mark to keep an eye out for them. Probably a question better left for admin to answer for exact details though.

Below is some info Marco posted not long ago.

Well I am pleased to announce that issue # 15 is at the printers and ready to go to press. This issue will be sent out to all subscribers the 2nd week of Feb.09 and be available in stores around the 3rd week of Feb.09. Issue # 15 is the first of six issues for 2009, issue # 16 comes out in April.

So i'm getting a little disappointed in all the negitive feedback on the burmese kush from TH Seeds... I have no info other than a teaser trailer for my grow journal on buku coming in one month. I really hope to have some great things to say...
