Default Strange sound from my Volcano

    Hi peepz,

i have an Volcano Digit and yesterday i found something strange

Whenn the unit heats up and gets around 145 C i hear some nois @ the top
from the Volcano. Like expanding metall, it ticks a little like little raindrops.
The sound isn't hard but it's there

Whenn i touch the top of the Volcano cover it goes away for a couple of seconds
    and than it;'s back again.

It's not the control light or so it's a constant noise.

I am just wondering if more people have notices this or maybe could check. It's not a
hard sound but it's there. Yeah also before i have taken an bag

    Thnx

    Default when you push down

The reason I say that is because something sounds lose. Can you tell if there are skrews os some sort of fastner holding the top down? If so be careful and try and tighten them, REMEMBER IT'S FRAGILE NOT TOO MUCH FORCE!! Is it new with a warrenty? If so and you are not comfortable with doing that I'd send it to the factory repair dealer. I know these machines are very expensive! I know I would not want to break it, But I'm the kinda person that takes bran new things apart just to see how they work. Yes they always work again and if they ever break I have a pretty good idea how to fix them. Getting new parts is the question? I really don't see a big problem with that either. Good luck with what ever you decide to do.

Might be the outer casing. It's held down by three or four specialty hex bolts that tend to get loose with the constant vibrating of the unit. I actually lost one due to this; the machine's a bit louder but still works fine. Granted, Volcanoes are incredibly well-designed; I've seen them still work fantastic after being dropped down stairs, even with the outer casing basically hanging off the unit.

I'd say you probably don't have anything to worry about, though send it to a repair depot if you're unsure. Milk that warranty for all it's worth!

    Question clogged cano?

ok, well, can't help you with the problem, but I have another question. my classic is acouple years old now. I don't know if it is real or I am just imagining it, but I'm thinking that my cano doesn't blow like she used to? Is is possible for the innards to start to gunk up or something?...thanks.
