    a few bong hits later.....

    with that bein said...

if someone had some ambition with a little constructive essay skills, some one should contact a grow tent company and sell them the idea of an "experiment" with a ..grow tent & UFO LED together..this is actually the next level of technology...but what the heck...wouldnt it be worth a try? maybe they will give ya one as a "sponser" and free advertising in these types of forums...show them how many forums that this could be exposed too...etc etc...ya see what i'm sayin

so the race is on....who will be the first one to get a "sponser" for a free tent...

let me know..i think its a great idea...AND if there is any doe xchangin hands...
remember .. "Crate" gets a cut.....

ok then.... you would be a perfect canidate to go to the makers of home box and ask them to design a round tent for the round light....

then contact the UFO people and try and work out a combo deal ...eh ?

Why would you need a round tent when the UFO covers a 3 x 3 area

LOL! they even have the square ones on that site you posted. $250 gets you 4 12"x12" LED setups and I think that would cover a Homebox. The UFO looks cool but that price is just way too high. I'd like to see a side by side with the UFO and a 400 watt.

I'd like to use a UFO in this HomeBox XS I have (2ft X 2ft floor space,4ft tall) I think it would be perfect in there.

    Default hmmm... wtf...?

ok now hold on a minute.....

i have been noticing something strange goin on here...the Sativa may not be responding "normally" to this light...i'm noticing more leaf tips, not all five leaf tips, just a couple turning a brown color almost like bein "burned"...so i been raising the light..AND... (maybe it's just me but) the Sativa has taken on the Indica like "bushiness" instead of the stretch normal to Sativa...MEANWHILE the Indica is lovin this light..so lush and now she is growin tall..catchin up to the Sativa....(ya think maybe the Sativa is waitin for the Indy to catch up to her?)..only a few more bong hits will determine that ...rofl...

the pic above would be leaf tip A, the last photo, you can see half the leaf and in various other leaves right directly under the light,(not in photo, but same) where as the leaves not directly under the light do not have this discoloration

Marco mentioned to me that it is recommended to have 8-9 inches from the LED's to the canopy, or risk burnt leaves from too much light causing necrosis (localized death of living tissue). The same happens if HID's are too close.

My LED experience is not with 5w LED's like that so they probably have more burning potential than I am use to. Mine only burn plants if they are actually touching the LED.

It is interesting tho, not knowing you were using the UFO i would have suggested that you had some kind of nute issue and not a light issue based on those pix.

i would say that its a nute issue as well in that pic...i have run across that in the past when i didnt mix the organics well enough and the roots hit a hot spot...i have absolutely no expierience with leds .....intersting thread
Once in a while you will get shown the light, in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

everyones really waitin on the flowering cycle i know....so for the next couple weeks
i won't have much to report other than odd observations...
one thing i must say though, i have noticed how well the Indica does with this light and can tell you is how well these lights do for veggin..compared to what i had them under previously

but the justification for the price will come with the Buddn'

    i'll keep ya posted..

probably gonna drop to 12/12 in a couple weeks..maybe sooner, we'll see
