    Thumbs up Lavender

These seeds were started November 27, 2007. Seven of 10 have showed up above the soil so far. I haven't given up on the other 3 yet, and will update this weekly until week 5.

These pictures taken at 7 days from the paper towel method. They are looking really good so far and lets see what another week will do for them.

These seedlings are doing even better than the Budda's sister babes. Both seed packs are started under the exact same conditions and will be grown that way till finish.

These are still beating the Buddas sister as far as size so far. I repot them into this 10 inch pot then preflower at about 6-7 weeks and only repot again when I know the gender. I make 2 copies of each plant until they are known.

    Thumbs up The Boys

These seeds only produced 3 males. I have already done away with them and am left with only the diffent females to choose which is best producer and potency. I have had more depression lately because of the season and am at least keeping up with the gardening, just not the posting.

I have been waiting for a long time for this. I wanted to make sure they are done propely this time and i waited and waited and waited. Anyway.... these plants were only grown in 10 inch pots, so the clones from them are grown in 5 gallon pails. Here is the first one done. Lavender # 3.

    Hi Konaboy!
Any chance I could trouble you to dig up your Lavender pics (or let me know how to access them herein)? I am just about convinced to pick this strain over The Black - which I have been trying to source up till now. Your advice would be greatly appreciated as well. I would like to go shopping for seeds this week and want to add this to our list. We currently hold 4 DG licenses and need to expanding the varieties we have available. I am also a meduser and need something that packs a punch at the end of the day (don't we all). I think this may be the one. Thanks for your help!

Hey RobinL.... I've got the Afghan Hawaiian pheno.... It smells like straight gummie bears.. With a hint of skunk... She delicious... I've never smoked the Black so I can't compare... But the guy I got this from has and the Lav is one of his favorite smokes... I never hear about the Black.. lol... I think it might have taken a couple packs to find her.... But she is well worth it.... I've got a few pics from last round... These were taken around 8 weeks.... She goes just under 10..... The yeild is pretty nice... And the quality is AMAZING!!..... A definite keeper in my books... She right up there with SourBubble BX3 for favorite smokes.... The high is very heavy hitting.... But very dreamy... And I get a nice calm feeling when I smoke it..... Good luck on your search and I hope you find what your looking for.....

    Hi there Kings!
Those buds are absolutely gorgeous My Friend!! I know this is the one I want - no doubt in my mind now - thanks for posting those. The bud in the last pic looks like its been dipped in sugar - and your description of the smell is yummy!
Are you working with Mum's? What was your experience with the seeds (i.e. female/male ratio)? I want to know EVERYTHING about this beauty - and greatly appreciate your help My Friend! I'm not going to tell any of the patients we are growing for until we can put a big purple bud in their hand. Can't wait to see the look on their faces - and mine after the first puff - its absolutely gorgeous!! Here we come Sacred Seeds!!

Thank you... ... This was only my second time running her... Like I said before I got the clone from someone.. So I'm not quite sure about all that info.... Let me check into that and get back to you.... I do know he had a couple females from the seeds though cause he said he liked this one best of them all but none were bad.... She stretches almost double but it not to hard to keep under control.... I usually flower around 20" clones of her.. And she ends up about 36" in a 3gal.... I feed them lighter than others in my garden and she seems to react nicely to that... The first run I didn't and she looked angry.. ... . lol
I feed them Pureblend Pro Veg/Bloom, Canna Ryzotonic, Bio-boost, Boost and Grozyme. O I also use a little organic black strap molasses the whole time..... Yeah and she going purple in 84/day 74/night temps... Its ridiculous... Are you going to buy multiple packs?? I would say buy at least two if you can afford.... That way your bound to find a few keepers....

Thanks guys, always nice to hear such kind words. i got a pack, feminized actually, found 4 phenos, all superb, only one with a lot of stretch, they all stink in the most beautiful way. Oh, and got 4 fem out of 5 seeds, the other was an easily identified herm.
Found it... So yeah he got a 5 pack of fem Lavender.
