Default What's the most her you've grown in the least space?

Just curious about some microgrowing stats. Does it really work? Let's hear your best boast...

    Jeez... Nothin'?

I'd really love to get some stats on this sort of thing. I know, for instance, Jorge Cervantes sez you can get .5 grams per watt of light every 30 days with the correct set up. I'm wondering how close microgrowers have gotten to that...

I'd say last time checked, I'd gotten about half that, about .5 gr/W per 60 days (= .25 gr/W per 30 days). But that was a FLORO experiment, and this doesn't take into account of the time and energy spent on vegging, or fans and pumps. With the right HID (HPS/MH) set-up .5 gr/W per 30 days would seem about right for an upper limit, neglecting for vegging, cuttings or seeds. Or perhaps including wattage for vegging, fans and pumps, but with CO2?

I think the standard is a step in the right direction, but without a standard accounting for WHAT goes in from the start of cutting or seed, WHAT is at the start of flowerring could vary quite a bit. Also, a Watt per 30 days at 10/14 is quite a bit less Kilo Watt Hours than at 14/10 per 30 days. May sound picky, but my last crop was flowerred entirely under 14/10, testing for early maturity.

Also Qualitative and Quantitative are not the same. Producing .5 gr/W of vegging leaves per 30 days wouldn't mean much.

It would be nice to have an established standard that includes vegging to. An average monthly gr/W per day, or 30 days or whatever, that included from time of cutting or sprouting would be more informative. The Holy
Grail of energy consumption would be to shoot for the smallest total energy expenditure per product, which would have to account for vegging loses.

Besides, as soon as we all have our GAS CHROMATOGRAPHS up and running, wouldn't it be %THC gr/KWHrs?
The City of Chico has the highest per capita MJ consumption in America... ...and it doesn't even feel like work.
